Please note that this is ENTIRELY MY OWN PROCESS, and not the be-all-end-all on how to draw comic strips. I should also mention that I do it all traditionally, by hand, and make touch ups in photoshop when the need arises. I also letter by hand, and recommend it for people who want a more "home-grown" look for their comics.
MY MOST PRESSING/PERSONALLY SUCCESSFUL PIECE OF ADVICE HERE: hashing out the dialogue beforehand is the most helpful thing in the world and makes the process of drawing the actual strip a million times easier/faster.

in all seriousness, this is really helpful. The only thing I need to work on now is my tiny attention span so I could actually finish something...thats my biggest problem. I get bored way to easily with any project that i can't finish in like 2 to 3 hours, and that really sucks for me...
