I kind of like how it's not exactly symmetrical, but your solution is like "If I angle it and move it slightly" and BAM! Totally different feel for it. The smoke and bubbles kind of background works excellent, knew that'd look good if you did it. So yeah, glad how it's the background and really helps the bright colors of the robot stand out. I would have smoothed out a couple of the clouds, the edges still look a little sloppy (not like perfectly round but this is obviously nitpicking)and maybe added a couple more of the bubbles to really help a few of those not look so lonely.
Oh and guess what? The neck frill feels like it belongs with the design now. It's a combination of the colors and angle that really help it anchor the head as well.
The colors all work quite well with each other, because in the basics they compliment. The brown looks like it's from the The way the eye is red and yellow really drives you there. Like I said there's enough saturation to really make you focus on dear sweet robopuss. All the little gradients in the shadows help him stand out and actually make him feel more crisp, he doesn't feel as bold he feels crisp. it's also apparently a he.
No problem, remember I TOLD YOU. Every post from here out, like initially is ganna be a crit. Mofo. That's how NAFF ROLES. She's all hitting up the homies being "FOOL That blue shirt doesn't work!" And they're like "Dang holmes, you're right." And we shot some hookers and we're all "yay her class liked it."
