SOME HORRIBLE CHARACTER DOODLES GONNA SCRAP DIS.


Deese peeps are the employees of a LEGITIMATE TRADING BUSINESS (read: black market smuggling company) and the crew of a small spacecraft they run their business out of. They also let Navy and co. crash with them when things get dicey.

Poesa is "technically" the captain, since she inherited half of the ship from her late aunt (the previous captain), but she works more as the muscle of the group and is bad at making split-second decisions.

Peko used to be a full-time crewmember, but after the old captain died he went on a kind of "space sabbatical" and tried to make it on his own for a while. Unfortunately he ran into Navy and is now a part-time crewmember, part-time Navy helper.

Mel handles all the paperwork and money, and supervises the upkeep of the ship. First and foremost, though, he's Kurtis's assistant, and will drop everything immediately if Kurtis needs him. He's also extremely quiet and never takes off his glasses.

Bon is kind of like Mel's assistant. She keeps the "medical wing" (aka Kurt's office) organized and clean, and is probably even quieter than Mel. She and Mel are of the same species, but aren't related.

Kurtis is a human, but doesn't look like it (he's kind of "illl" at the moment...) and used to be one of the most famous doctors in the galaxy. Now he owns the other half of the ship and fixes whatever ailments his ragtag crew comes down with. He's kind of bitter. :I

Benji was the previous captain's first mate, and is now Poesa's first mate. He's the ship's mechanic, and is always smiling. Always. In fact, the only time he STOPS smiling is when he's sleeping, and THEN he starts screaming. Nobody is really sure where the previous captain found him.
